Radish Soup 青红白萝卜煲鱿鱼干


My first recipe... Radishes are good source of vitamin C, vitamin A, potassium, folate and dietary fat. Personally i preferred pork muscle for this soup, just nice to go with plain rice and my Penang soya sauce!

































1 Carrot (peel, cut into bite size)
1/2 Bowl Radish (peel, cut into bite size)
1/2 Bowl Green Radish (peel, cut into bite size)
1 Dried Cuttle Fish (wash cut into 3)
1/2 Chicken (peel of the skin, chunk) Or 400 gm Pork Muscle (chunk)
1Whole Garlic
1.5 Water
600 ml Water
Salt and pepper to taste (optional)

1. Bring the 600 ml water in a medium pot to boiled and place the chicken or pork into the pot. Cook for 5 minutes on medium fire. Then take out the chicken or meat, discard the water.

2. Bring the 1.5 litre water in a large pot to boiled, place green radish, cuttle fish and garlic and cook for 20 minutes. Then add in carrot, radish, chicken or pork and cook for 3 hour under small fire.

3. Add salt and pepper. Enjoy!
